How About Some Salt & Pepper Taco Bell?

Wednesday July 22, the famous Taco Bell star Gidget died at 15 years of age, (let us have a moment of silence), adoring fans everywhere speculate...can anyone ever fill those precious paw prints?

Did you say 'precious'? Precious sits pensively reflecting on her life to date and wondering if she might someday find her way to fame and fortune...one thing is sure, if she ever decides to make the dash to Hollywood, her cohort and partner in crime, the infamous escape artist Maxie would be more than ready to meet the challenge.
Listen up Taco Bell, we be thinkin' you need to give equal time to the black Max! How about a little salt and pepper? Maxie & Precious await your call!

Maxi Runs Again!

In the ongoing saga of Maxi and Precious...today Maxi takes center stage. Don't let that innocent look fool you...this canine is actually the perpetual escape artist. Slipping (or chewing..uh oh) through any opening, he is ready to make his dash for freedom at a moment's notice. With his jet black hair and escape antics one has to wonder if he is a reincarnation of the long lost Houdini? So what is it that drives this cheeky Chiquaqua to challenge his boundaries? Maybe he just watched one too many Taco Bell commercials, 'run for the border!' Aye Chiquaqua!

Mom's Baby - Cockapoo - Sissy

Sissy is a white fluff ball of love. I'll let mom tell us about her quirks and what makes her so special in the comments area. She moved into the house, into my mother's heart and up on her bed. That's how it works... And they called it puppy love...

Mary Hime's Chihuahua's ~ Maxamesta (aka: Maxie) & Precious

Does it get any cuter than this?

How It All Began
I had talked to a lady about purchasing one of her puppies. We decided
on August 19 in the afternoon. My grandson decided he wanted to be
born on that day too. My first look at him, I said "Oh he is so
precious!" My son-in-law just looked at me. So I decided that if i
could not call him precious that I would call my puppy 10 oz Precious (cream colored).
Precious loves the children. If we go outside and put the baby in the
carrier, Precious climbs up at the foot of the carrier and guards them.
Maxie on the other hand, was supposed to be a white poodle. I took a
notion to get a poodle. In the mean time this little black and tan Chi
came into my life a little earlier than I expected. I was sick for a
week in December and stayed home. So I went ahead and got her
so that I could work with her. Her original date was December 10th.
Well low and behold grand son number two was born. I named her Maxie
because she looks like a dog I had as a child.
My family teases me about getting a chi every time I have a new
grandchild. So my husband told my daughter that she could not have any
more children because we can't afford anymore dogs in the house!

In Memory of Dog's I Have Loved

You came into my life just when I needed you. Some would say your love was not entirely unconditional...you counted on me to feed you, walk you, clean up after you, chase the ball when you would not, and rub your belly. But even when I was late with your dinner or sick in bed you curled up next to me. Even when I left you at home, you greeted me with a happy face and wagging tale. When you were sick, you still did your best to make me laugh. I tried to save you, but I could not and it broke my heart to let you go. Ecclesiastes 3 says 'who can say if the spirit of man goes up to heaven and the spirit of an animal down'. No one knows, but when I get to heaven and move into the mansion God has promised, I hope I will open the door and find you waiting there.
